Course Description
Do you enjoy great TV, films, or novels? Myths and folklore? Do you enjoy great storytelling of any kind?
. . . and . . . Do you want to learn more about the Enneagram?
Then this class is for you! It explores both the Process Enneagram and the Personality Enneagram using Joseph Campbell's discovery of the archetypal story arc found across cultures: The Hero With A Thousand Faces.
Examples are cited from Star Wars, Wizard of Oz, Mad Max: Fury Road, and Lord of the Rings.
Each lesson includes a summary chart in a downloadable PDF.

Trent Thornley
Trent developed the Living Enneagram approach based on many years of applying his Enneagram training as an ACPE Certified Educator of Clinical Pastoral Education.
Trent is a former president of the International Enneagram Association and currently an IEA Accredited Professional. Trent serves as the Executive Director of the San Francsico Night Ministry. He is an ordained Buddhist Dharma Leader in a Dzogchen lineage, and an ordained minister in the Metropolitan Community Churches, a progressive denomination celebrating queer spirituality. His teachings are open and affirming of all paths.
Trent holds a masters degree in Buddhist Studies from the Graduate Theological Union and a Certificate in Buddhist Chaplaincy from the Institute of Buddhist Studies. He is faculty for the Sati Center Buddhist Chaplaincy online program. Trent has years of rigorous spiritual practice in various Buddhist traditions. Trent has lived in San Francisco for 30 years.
